Cost Efficient, Durable, and Weather Resistant

Plastic, or synthetic, log tags are the most popular type of tag we make. These types of tags are typically used when the tag will remain on the log for extended periods of time under all kinds of weather conditions. Keep in mind, if you sell your waste chips to a pulp mill, you will have to remove these tags from the log ends before you saw the log. These plastic materials will contaminate the waste chips and the pulp mills will not accept them.

Overlaminated for Protection

In order to protect the printed image, consecutive barcode and numbers, we apply a clear protective overlaminating film that completely seals the surface of the log tag. So no matter what the weather and conditions...rain, snow, mud, dirt, dust...you can rest assured that the integrity of you barcode and numbers are completely protected. If needed, simply wipe off the surface of the log tag to remove any residue and you'll be able to scan the barcode without fail.

2. XT Film - more durable and flexible at a slightly higher cost

• Select from one of our many standard sizes or create your own custom size
• 1-part, 2-part, 3-part and other configurations can be made
• Cut singles and boxed
• Put up in rolls on a core for easy dispensing
• Add a colored background, boxes, or stripes for easy identification
• Consecutive jumbo numbers for visibility
• Matching consecutive barcodes work with your existing data system
• Barcodes can include prefixes, suffixes, security check digits and special encodings
• Add your company name and logo, phone number, email, web address or whatever
